TIPS & RECOMMENDATIONS
NOTE: For best results read the following tip.
Smaller foods usually require a slightly shorter preparation time than larger foods. Avoid pieces
that are too thick.
To avoid overflowing and to extend the life of the oil, dry the food carefully before cooking it.
NEVER exceed the MAX level. ALWAYS fill the REMOVABLE NON-STICK CERAMIC COATED
BOWL to at least the MIN level.
DO NOT put anything on top of the appliance or the fixed air filter.
During cooking, the indicator light cycles ON and OFF to indicate that the temperature is
being regulated.
Oil temperature is crucial for deep-frying. To avoid greasy, oil-saturated foods, the oil
temperature must be between the temperatures 340 °F and 374 °F (170 °C and 190 °C).
To cook more fried food, add oil as required, turn the VARIABLE TEMPERATURE CONTROL to
the required temperature, wait until the oil ready light comes ON before placing the new food
in the oil.
NOTE: The recommended type of oils for frying are all vegetable-based, vegetable oil, canola
oil, ***peanut oil***, or grapeseed oil. We do not suggest frying with peanut oil other than
nut-based oils.
NOTE: Olive oil is a healthy oil with great flavor, but extra virgin olive oil has a low smoking
point and should not be used to deep-fry at high temperatures unless it is blended with
vegetable oil.
NOTE: The oil may darken after multiples uses. Please replace with new oil accordingly.
Oil should be changed after a maximum of 8 uses.
NEVER put cold water into the REMOVABLE NON-STICK CERAMIC COATED BOWL or on
the REMOVABLE FRYING BASKET. Sudden changes of temperature may cause metal to
warp, resulting in an uneven bottom. Let pieces cool down on their own or place in lukewarm
soapy water.
The LID and the housing of the compact deep fryer becomes very hot during operation.
Use oven gloves.
CAUTION: DO NOT touch the REMOVABLE FRYING BASKET right after use as it will be
very hot. Only hold the REMOVABLE FRYING BASKET by the FRYING BASKET FOLDABLE
COOL-TOUCH HANDLE.
CAUTION: Use extreme caution when moving/handling the product when oil is extremely hot.
WARNING: DO NOT place the REMOVABLE FRYING BASKET on a countertop, as it will stain
or burn the countertop. Use a protective trivet.
WARNING: ALWAYS unplug the appliance when not in use or when it will be left unattended.
