CORRECT USE OF THE PRODUCT
NOTICE
This appliance is intended for home use as a
steam generator as described and in accordan-
ce with the instructions provided in this manual.
Please read these instructions carefully and keep
them, as you may find them useful in the future.
Polti declines any liability for damages or ac-
cidents derived from any use of Vaporetto
that does not conform with the instructions
contained in this booklet.
Before leaving our factory all our products
are rigorously tested. The boiler tank of your
new Vaporetto may contain some residual
water from the factory testing.

Tests carried out by third party and
independent laboratories attest that the Polti
steam cleaner kills and removes 99.99% of
virus, germs and bacteria if used based on
the instructions included in this manual with
the microfiber cloth mounted and for a
continuous operating time of 15 seconds on
the potentially contaminated area.
1. PREPARATION FOR USE
1.1 Unscrew the safety cap.
1.2 Fill the boiler tank with
up to 6.5 fl oz (200 ml) of
tap water, using the jug.
NOTICE
It is a good idea to check that the boiler tank is
empty before filling it.
WARNING
WARNING: never exceed the maximum boiler
fill level of 6.5 fl oz (200 ml); always use the
jug supplied to control the amount of water.

power cable disconnected.
1.4 Connect the cable plug to a grounded
power supply of the correct voltage.
1.5 The "Steam Ready" lamp will turn on. Wait
for the steam ready indicator lamp to go out
(approx. 5 minutes). The appliance is ready
for use.
WARNING
WARNING: if steam is escaping from the sa-
fety cap, switch the appliance off and unplug
it from the mains. Wait for two hours for the
appliance to cool before unscrewing the cap
and screwing it back on.
2. CONNECTION OF ACCESSORIES
2.1 FLEX
To join the flex to the
appliance, bring the arrow
on the flex in line with the
single
appliance and rotate the
flex body in the direction of
the arrow, until it clicks into
place.
To release the flex, pull the
little lever above it and
rotate
direction from the arrow.
•Once the flex is correctly connected, the
lance and all other accessories can in turn
be connected to the flex.
2.2 LANCE
To attach the lance, bring
the arrow on the lance in
line with the single notch
on
