5.5 Push and hold the

appliance and steam the
surfaces.

delicate surfaces.
6. CLEANING FURNITURE AND DE-
LICATE SURFACES
6.1 Make sure that the steps in chapter 1 has
been completed.
6.2 Connect the lance to the appliance as indi-
cated in point 2.2. (it is possible to connect
the lance to the flex in order to reach parts
that are difficult to reach, as indicated in point
2.1).
6.3 Press and hold the steam button on the
appliance and direct the steam jet onto a
cloth.
6.4 Use a cloth previously steamed to clean
the surface, avoiding prolonged use on the
same spot.
WARNING
WARNING: Do not direct the steam jet direc-
tly onto delicato surfaces.
WARNING: Before cleaning the surface,
always do a test on a hidden part and see
how it reacts to the application of steam.
7. WATER OUT
When the appliance does not release steam
anymore, this means there is no more water in
the boiler.
WARNING
WARNING: Never fill the boiler as soon as
the safety cap has been opened when the
boiler is still hot, even if the appliance is un-
plugged from the mains. On contact with the
hot empty boiler tank, cold water will evapo-
rate producing a spray of steam which can
cause burns. Only fill the boiler tank when
cold and always keep your face away from
the boiler tank mouth when filling.

To continue with use, proceed as follows:
• Disconnect the power supply cable from
the mains.
•
Act on the steam request lever until
steam flow ceases.
• Wait for a few minutes to allow the boiler
tank to cool down.
• Unscrew the safety cap by pressing and
holding.
• When cool, carefully refill the boiler tank
as described in the "Preparation for Use"
section.
If the generator is not completely cooled
when you refill it, we recommend that you
then CAREFULLY pour only very small
quantities of water at each pouring, so as
to avoid spitting from the boiler tank. Co-
ver exposed skin whilst filling.
WARNING
WARNING: If as you unscrew the safety cap it
begins to spin freely or if steam is escaping,
immediately stop the operation, ensuring that
the boiler is switched off and the power cable
is unplugged from the electrical outlet. Wait
for the appliance to cool (two hours) and ca-
refully unscrew the cap before removing it.

8. GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Before carrying out any maintenance on the
appliance, always unplug it from the power
mains making sure that the product has coo-
led down before proceeding.
To clean the outside of the appliance, use a
damp cloth and tap water.
All accessories can be cleaned using running
water. Ensure they are completely dry before
the next use.
Do not use detergents of any type.
After using the brushes, we recommend let-
ting the bristles cool down in their natural po-
sition, in order to avoid deformation.
9. STORAGE
10.1 Turn off the appliance and disconnect
from the electricity mains.
10.2 Wait for the appliance to cool down
completely before storing it.
