saw chain until the underside of the chain fits into the
guide bar rail as shown in the illustration.
Working with a cordless mini chainsaw
NOTE: The first user should, as a minimum practice,
cut logs on a saw or cradle.
CAUTION: Secure the round pieces against rotation.
CAUTION: Keep all body parts away from the saw
chain when the engine is running.
CAUTION: Hold the chainsaw firmly with one hand
while the engine is running.
CAUTION: Do not exceed. Always maintain proper
posture and balance.
WARNING: Never drop or drop the tool on the
ground.
CAUTION: Do not cover the ventilation openings of
the tool.
Launching
To start the saw, press the safety lock and the switch
at the same time.
After starting, the saw will immediately run at maxi-
mum speed.
Shutdown:
Release the switch. Only put the saw down when the
chain stops turning! Always clean the saw chain and
chain bar after working with the saw.
Pruning trees
Before switching on, bring the body of the chainsaw
into contact with the branch being cut. Otherwise, the
guide bar may wobble, which may result in injury to
the operator. Saw the wood to be cut with a simple
downward motion using the weight of the chainsaw.
If you cannot cut the wood in one go:
Apply slight pressure to the handle and continue cut-
ting, pulling the chainsaw back a little.
When cutting coarse branches, first make a shallow
undercut and then make the final cut from above.
If you try to cut thick branches from below, the branch
can close and jam the saw chain in the cut. If you
try to cut thick branches from above without shallow
undercutting, the branch may split.
1. Lean the body of the chainsaw against the wood
to be cut.
1. Saw the wood with the saw chain running,
2. Press lightly on the top of the machine, continue
cutting and loosen the saw slightly.
CAUTION: For multiple cuts, turn the chainsaw off
between cuts
CAUTION: If the top edge of the bar is used to cut,
the chainsaw may veer in your direction if the chain
catches. For this reason, cut with the bottom edge so
that the saw is away from your body.
Branching out
WARNING: Branching may only be performed by
trained personnel.
When debranching, support the chainsaw against the
trunk if possible. Pay special attention to stretched
branches. Do not cut unsupported branches from
below.
Do not stand on the felled trunk when debranching.
Attention dangerous situations:
Giant. 12-1: The upper part of the trunk is tense
Danger: The tree will rise!
Giant. 12-2: The lower part of the trunk is tense
Danger: The tree will move downwards!
Giant. 12-3: Strong Tribes
Danger: The tree will move unexpectedly and with
great force!
Giant. 12-4: Both parts of the trunk are tense
Danger: The tree will move sideways!
