to a greater extent by calm work and anticipation as
follows:
Always watch the front of the guide bar when cutting.
Never attempt to cut with the front of the slats.
Be careful when cutting thin and flexible branches.
The saw chain can easily bite into them.
Pay special attention to inserting the bar into already
cut wood when completing the cut.
back pressure (resistance)
Back pressure (resistance) occurs when trying to cut
wood from below, if the chain on the top of the guide
bar touches a solid object, or if the saw chain gets
stuck
Forward thrust
If we do not direct the stop of the scrap against the
cut wood, the chain will pull the saw forward when it
bites or hits a solid object of the wood
If possible, it is therefore important to direct the chip
stop (17) against the wood being cut.
