sensor did not

thin, too flexible,
or too crumpled to
reliably activate the
detection sensor.

You may have put
too many sheets in
the shredder at the
same time.
The safety switch is
activated.
Solution
Always turn off the paper shredder
and unplug the power cable. Then
let it cool down sufficiently to room
temperature before putting it back
into service..
Insert the paper correctly into the slot.
1. Place the push button in the REV
position and pull the paper out of
the slot.
2. Fold the paper and reinsert it.
Solution
Move the push button to the REV
position to clear the blockage.
Make sure the main unit is correctly on
the base station. Make sure the paper
/ credit card container is fully inserted
into the base station until a click is
audible.
