Shredding
• The document shredder turns on automatically when you insert paper
or credit cards in the middle of the credit card paper slot
applies when you insert the CD in the middle of the CD slot
• The paper, credit card or CD is inserted automatically after the
corresponding detection sensor activates. If you insert paper that is
too thin (airmail paper, carbon paper, or transparent paper), the paper
/ credit card detection sensor may not activate. This is normal and it is
not a fault. In this case, do not insert a single sheet, but several. Also
be aware that paper that is too thin does not fi t well and can block the
cutting tool more easily.
• The document shredder is automatically stopped in the event of an
overload to prevent damage to the engine. Disconnect the document
shredder from the power supply and allow it to cool to room
temperature before putting it back into service..
• Put the levers back on the wheels with locking levers
