WARNING !
Misuse may result in electric shock.
− Always turn off the paper shredder before cleaning and unplug the power cable.
CAUTION !
Improper cleaning of the document shredder can result in injury.
− The document shredder becomes hot during operation. Allow the document shred-
der to cool completely before cleaning it.
− Do not touch the cutting tool with your fingers.
− Never disassemble the document shredder for cleaning or storage.
NOTICE !
Water entering the housing can cause a short circuit.
− Make sure that there is no water or other liquids entering the housing.
− Never immerse the document shredder or the electric cable in water or other
liquids.
NOTICE!
Improper handling of the document shredder can cause damage.
− Do not use any harsh cleaning products, wire or nylon brushes, and no sharp or me-
tal cleaning tools such as a knife, hard spatula, or the like. The surfaces of the paper
shredder could be damaged as a result.
1. Push the slide switch
the electrical outlet.
2. Use a dry or slightly damp, wrung out cloth to clean the document shredder from
the outside, then dry all parts thoroughly.
