Troubleshooting
3. To ensure trouble-free operation, periodically remove leftover paper and credit cards,
or CDs from the underside of the main unit
For this, use a suitable tool (eg a brush). Do not touch the cutting tool with your
fi ngers. Never disassemble the document shredder for cleaning.
In order to maintain the rotating metal blades, lubricate your device regu-
larly with WAYTEX lubricating oil provided for this purpose. It is advisable
to carry out this maintenance each time the trash is emptied.
Apply the oil in a zig-zag pattern on an A4 sheet. Then insert the foil into
your shredder and run it. The oil will distribute over the blades.
