3.1 PERFORMING
SCHEDULED
MAINTENANCE
It is important to perform service as specified in the Maintenance
Schedulefor proper generator operation, and to ensure that the
generatorcomplies with the applicableemission standardsfor the
durationof its useful life. Serviceand repairsmay be performed by
any capable personor repair shop. Additionally, emissions critical
maintenance must be performed as scheduled in order for the
Emissions Warranty to be valid. Emissions critical maintenance
consists of servicing the air filter and spark plugs in accordance
with the MaintenanceSchedule.
3.2 MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
Follow the calendar intervals. More frequent service is required
when operatingin adverseconditions noted below.

*
Changeoil and oil filter every monthwhen operating under heavyload or in high
temperatures.
** Clean more often under dirty or dusty operating conditions. Replaceair filter
parts if they cannot be adequately cleaned.
