2. Swivel the product to the desired bevel cutting angle .
▶ If you want to set an angle of -1° or greater than 45° (up to maximum 47°), press and hold down the
release button (2).
3. Tighten one of the two clamping screws of the cutting angle adjustment.
4. Tighten the opposing securing screw of the cutting angle adjustment.

Setting saw blade speed
Always use a speed that is suitable for the saw blade used and the material to be worked. By using an
appropriate speed you prevent overheating of the saw teeth and extend the service life of the saw blades.
▶ Turn the speed selector knob to the appropriate position.

Installing parallel guide
Depending on how it is installed on the product, the parallel guide can fulfill one of the two functions:
L-shaped edge facing down:
Parallel guide for uniform cuts along an edge.
L-shaped edge facing up:
Extension of the base plate for steadier guidance when cutting without guide rail.
1. Slacken the two clamping screws.
2. Slip the parallel guide into the mounts in the base plate.
3. Set the parallel guide to the distance required for the cut.
▶ Make sure that the distances are the same on both sides.
4. Tighten the two clamping screws.

Setting product on guide rail
1. Place the product with the groove in the base plate on the guide rib.
2. Check the play between guide rail and base plate.
3. Adjust play by turning the eccentric screws (1):
▶ To reduce play, turn the eccentric screws clockwise.
▶ To increase play, turn the eccentric screws counter-clockwise.
4. Adjust play to the minimum at which the gliding movement is not impaired.
