VI. MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
WARNING!
Before any intervention on product, ensure that power is set to the "OFF" position and
disconnect from main power source.
WARNING!
Users should only carry out maintenance work in accordance with this instruction
manual. All other service work must be carried out by an authorized service center.
Reminder: In order to maintain the machine in good working condition, carry out regular
maintenance of the machine after each use and before storage. Any breach or inadequate
maintenance reduces the life of the machine and increases the risk of breakdowns and accidents.
6.1- Cleaning
• Disconnect the hose and all accessories from the compressor before cleaning.
• Whenever possible, keep safety devices free of dirt and dust. Wipe the equipment with a
clean cloth or blow it with compressed air at low pressure (max. 3 bar).
• Do not use aggressive detergents, chemicals or solvents for cleaning; these may be
aggressive to the plastic parts. Make sure no water can get into the interior of the product.
6.2- Maintenance
Condensed water
• Turn off the compressor and disconnect the hose and all accessories from it.
• Release any residual pressure in the tank.
• Loosen the drainage screw (11) and drain the condensed water every day after use.
• NOTE: The condensation water from the pressure tank may contain residual engine oil.
Collect and dispose of condensation water in an environmentally friendly manner at your local
collection point.
• Check and hand tighten the drainage screw.
Safety valve
• The safety valve (10) has been set to the maximum permitted pressure of the pressure tank.
User should not adjust the safety valve.
Engine oil level
• Check the oil level regularly by looking at the oil level window (15). The level should be
between the Max and Min marks.
• Fill for the first time after 100 hours of operation. Thereafter, the oil must be drained and
replaced every 500 operating hours.
• Recommended hydraulic oil: SAE 5W/40 or equivalent.
• Before changing the oil, turn off the compressor and disconnect it from the mains supply.
After releasing all air pressure, you can unscrew the oil drainage screw (17) on the compressor
pump. To prevent oil from flowing out of control, hold a small metal chute under the opening
and catch the oil in a container. If the oil does not drain completely, tilt the compressor slightly.
Finally, close the oil drainage screw and fill the engine oil through the sealing plug (14)
openning.
Air intake filter
• The air intake filter (1) prevents dust and dirt from being drawn into the compressor. A
clogged filter will significantly reduce compressor performance.
