Installation instructions:

1.) Remove the rear bumper from the vehicle.
Dismantle the regular holder as well as the reinforcement support, because these parts are no
longer needed.
2.) Slide the basic frame 1 into the vehicle's sleepers and fasten it using the screws M10x35 from the
direction of the wheel cases as shown in the diagram.
3.) Align the basic frame 1 to the vehicle and tighten the M10x35 screws.
Note!
Angular-controlled starting torque (M10x35 screws, quality class 10.9).
First tighten all screws alternating cross-wise with 50 Nm torque (±10% tolerance). Then turn
all screws alternating cross-wise by 90° more (+30° tolerance).
4.1) Polo:
Insert the cut-out in the bumper as illustrated in the accompanying template.
4.2) Polo BlueMotion:
a) Insert the cut-out in the bumper as illustrated in the accompanying template. If necessary,
adapt cut-outs.
or
b) Disassemble the existing spoiler from the rear bumper and replace it with a new spoiler
(original VW spare part).
Insert the cut-out in the bumper as illustrated in the accompanying template.
5.) Assemble the electrical kit according to the extra instructions.
Push the ball bar 2 between the plates and fasten with screws M12x75, the washers 13x24x2.5, and
the nuts M12.
The socket holder 3 is also attached here.
Torque: M12
6.) Reattach the bumper cover with the standard screws.
