Modes of operation
ATTENTION! IF THE CABLE IS DAMAGED, IT MUST BE REPLACED BEFORE USING THE
BLOWER.
BLOWER
Check the area to be processed before starting. Remove any objects or debris that could be thrown,
jammed or become entangled on the blower. Select the blowing mode using the selector lever on
the side of the tool (Fig. 7) and turn it on. With the machine resting on its wheels, move the machine
forward, directing the nozzle at the debris to be cleared.
Alternatively, hold the nozzle just above the ground and rotate the machine from side to side,
moving forward and pointing the nozzle at the debris to be cleared. Blow the debris into a
convenient spot and then use the vacuum function to collect the debris.
VACUUM
Check the area to be edited before you start. Remove any objects or debris that can be thrown
jammed, or become entangled in the unit. Select the vacuum mode using the selector lever on the
side of the tool (Fig. 7) and turn it on. With the tool resting on its wheels, move the tool forward,
directing the nozzle at the debris to be collected. Alternatively, with the tool just above the ground,
rotate the tool from side to side, moving it forwards and directing the nozzle towards the debris to
be collected. Do not push the nozzle into the debris as this will block the vacuum tube and reduce the
tool's performance.
Organic materials such as leaves contain a large amount of water that can cause them to stick to the
inside of the vacuum tube. To prevent material from sticking to the tube, the material should be left
for a few days to dry out.
WARNING: WHEN CLEARING SHREDDED LEAVES, UNPLUG THE CORD FROM THE SOCKET
AND SET THE SWITCH TO THE OFF POSITION.
