Operation
- The green LED is on, and the red and yellow LEDs are off
Normal
Gas
- The red LED light on
- The buzzer gives a continuous sound
alarm
- The relay (ESN14.. / ESN26..) switches over and activates electric loads connected on it
- The solenoid valve (EV terminals) closes after 15s, (pulse signal of 0,5s every 10s).
The specific smell that distributor / producer gives to methane and LPG, together with the high sensitivity of human
olfactory, let notice the presence of very low concentrations of these gases even few ppm (parts per million), that
is before the detector intervenes. For practical reasons, detector is calibrated to intervene at a higher threshold,
however always below the danger threshold.
IMPORTANT
IN THE CASE OF ALARM FOR METHANE OR LPG LEAKAGE, PROCEED AS FOLLOWS:

Cut off all free flames and all gas-supplied devices

Do not switch-on or switch-off electrical lights or any other electrically-supplied appliance, in order to avoid the
sparkling (cause of explosion)

Close the main valve of the gas network or of the LPG gas bottle
−
Open windows and doors to ventilate the rooms
−
Look for the cause of the alarm, and eliminate it. If you are not able to find and to eliminate the cause of the alarm,
leave the building, and, from the outside, call for emergency aids.
