Electrical connections
•
The installation has to be made in compliance with all the laws in force
•
Electrical connections have to be made following the diagrams of this instruction. Cables cross section: 1,5 mm²
•
Max cable length between detector and solenoid valve: 80 m (EV output)
•
Connect on EV terminals only solenoid valve with electric power not higher than 13W
•
Detectors must be directly connected to the mains without any switches and being permanently powered up
6.
Installation
•
Remove the cover, (unscrew the screw on the lower part)
•
Fasten the body to the wall
•
Make the electrical connections following the diagrams of these instructions.
•
Put back the cover on the body. Pay attention to not damage the LEDs
Never touch the sensor or the electronic circuit. Any tampering could be cause of electric shock and
endanger the correct working of the detector.
7.
Commissioning
Detectors do not require any programming or parametrization.
7.1
Preparing
•
Check that detector chosen is coherent with the gas that has to be detected:
ESN14.G - ESN 16.G - ESN26.G for methane CH4 ESN14.P - ESN 16.P - ESN26.P for liquid petroleum gas LPG
•
Check that the solenoid valve will be suitable for the desired application
•
Check that electrical connections are made following the diagrams and the data printed on the back of the detector.
