Do not place the cuff around your arm if the
arm has any inflammation, acute diseases,
infections skin wounds.
a Be seated with your feet flat on the floor,
and don't cross your legs.

surface such as a desk or table, with your
elbow resting on a chair or table

Then the monitor slowly releases air from
the cuff and carries out the measurement.
Finally the blood pressure and pulse rate
will be calculated and displayed on the LCD
screen. The blood pressure classification
indicator and Irregular heartbeat symbol
(if any) will blink on the screen. See pic-
ture 6-6. The result will be automatically
stored in the monitor.
