2.3 Use
•
Do not put or place objects on the product or sit on it.
•
Do not insert fingers or objects into the ventilation holes.
•
Do not touch the ventilation holes.
•
Always place the product on a flat, stable and level surface.
•
Do not use the product near a bathtub, a shower, a (laundry) tub filled with water or
similar places.
•
Do not immerse the product, cabling or plug in water or other liquids.
•
Protect the product from dripping or spray.
•
If water gets into the product (except for the water tank), unplug it immediately. Have the
product checked for damage before using it again.
•
Do not touch the product with wet hands.
•
If the product falls into water, unplug it immediately. Do not remove the product from
water until the plug is unplugged.
•
Do not use the product in a potentially explosive environment where there are flammable
liquids, gases or substances. Electrical appliances may generate sparks that may ignite
dust or vapors.
•
The product contains extremely highly flammable pressurized gas. This gas may explode
when heated.
•
Keep the product away from heat, hot surfaces, open flames and other sources of
ignition. Do not smoke near the product.
•
Do not use items other than those approved by the manufacturer to aid the defrosting
process.
•
The product should be stored only in areas without permanent ignition sources (e.g.,
open flames, appliances that run on gas and are on, electric heaters).
•
Do not drill into the product. Do not burn the product.
•
Remember that refrigerants are odorless.
•
Do not use the product near swimming pools, bathrooms or similar environments.
•
The product is not suitable for drying insulation materials. If insulation materials are
damp due to a burst pipe, consult an expert.
•
Never expose the product to temperatures equal to or below 0°C. Residual water in the
pipes may freeze and damage the product.
•
Do not use the product in a dusty environment or in an area treated with chlorine.
•
Unplug the product before cleaning or servicing it.
2.4 Electrical
•
Do not disassemble, repair or restore the product. Doing so may cause damage to the
product. For your own safety, these parts should only be replaced by authorized service
personnel. Before connecting the product, ensure that the mains voltage indicated on
the rating plate matches that of your mains supply.
•
Check both power cord and plug regularly for signs of damage or wear, and if there is
any, do not use the product and have the power cord and/or plug replaced or repaired
by authorized service personnel.
