Replacing the batteries
WARNING! Follow these instructions to
avoid mechanical and electrical dam-
age.
Insert the included batteries in the product
before the first use.
Inserting the batteries in the locomotive
(Fig. B)
1. Use a suitable screwdriver to loosen the screw
(1a) on the battery holder (1c) on the back of
the locomotive (1).
2. Remove the lid (1b) and carefully place two
batteries (4) into the battery holder (1c). The
batteries must fit fully into the battery holder.
Note: Pay attention to correct plus/minus polar-
ity of the batteries and their installation.
3. Screw the lid (1b) tightly onto the back.
Replacing battery

If the batteries stop working, replace them using
the same process as described for inserting
them. Remove the batteries already in the prod-
uct before inserting the new batteries.
Note: The product must be switched off before
you change the batteries.
Activating and deactivating
the locomotive (Fig. C)
1. Move the switch (1d) on the underside of the
high-speed train (1) to ON in order to turn on
the locomotive.
2. Press the front button (1e) to activate forward
motion.
3. Press the middle button (1f) to stop the loco-
motive.
4. Press the back button (1g) to activate back-
ward motion.
5. Move the switch (1d) on the underside of the
high-speed train (1) to OFF in order to turn off
the locomotive.
RFID feature
The self-driving locomotive can be combined
with other RFID-capable toys.
Put the train on the tracks (not included in the
scope of delivery) and activate it. The following
functions will be triggered:
1. When the high-speed train (1) drives through
the tunnel with the sound feature (2), it will
trigger a sound from the train and the train will
stop for a moment (Fig. D).
2. When the high-speed train drives through a
tunnel with the reverse feature (3), the high-
speed train (1) will stop for a moment and
then change its driving direction (Fig. E).
Note: To avoid derailing the high-speed train,
make sure the tracks (not included in the set)
are placed on a level surface and connected
properly.
Note: If the wheels of the high-speed train lose
their grip on the tracks (not included in the set),
remove any dust and dirt from the wheels and
track with a clean cloth.
Storage, cleaning
When not in use, always store the product dry,
clean, without batteries and at room tempera-
ture. Wipe clean with a dry cloth only.
IMPORTANT! Never clean the product with
harsh cleaning agents.
Disposal
Dispose of the article and the packaging materi-
als in accordance with current local regulations.
Packaging materials such as foil bags are not
suitable to be given to children. Keep the packa-
ging materials out of the reach of children.
Dispose of the products and the
packaging in an environmentally friendly
manner.
The recycling code is used to identify
various materials for recycling. The code
consists of the recycling symbol – which
is meant to reflect the recycling cycle – and a
number which identifies the material.
