POWER TOOL USE AND CARE
1. Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for the each application. The correct power tool will always do the job better and safer when used
as intended.
2. Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn activate or deactivate it. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is extremely
dangerous and must be repaired.
3. Disconnect the main plug from the power source and/or the battery pack from the power tool before changing accessories, making any adjustments, or
storing the power tool. Such preventive safety measures will reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.
4. When the power tool is not in use, store it out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to use
and operate the power tool. Power tools are extremely dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
5. Maintain the power tool. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, leakage and any other issue that may affect the power tool's
operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Many accidents and injuries are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
6. Keep the cutting parts of the power tool sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are more
precise and easier to control.
7. Always use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc. in accordance with the instructions of this instruction manual, taking into account the working
conditions and the work that is to be performed. Use of the power tool for applications different from those intended could result in personal injury or cause
damage to the power tool.
8. Keep the handles and any grasping surfaces of the power tool dry, clean and free of oil and grease. Slippery handles and grasping surfaces do not allow for
safe handling of the tool in unexpected circumstances.
BATTERY TOOL USE AND CARE
1. Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn activate or deactivate it. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is extremely
dangerous and must be repaired.
2. Recharge the batteries only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is used to charge unsuitable batteries can create a risk of fire.
3. Use the power tool only with the specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.
4. When the battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects that can
make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
5. Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, seek
medical help immediately. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
6. Do not use a battery pack that is damaged or modified. Damaged or modified batteries may not function as intended, resulting in fire or explosion.
7. Do not expose a battery pack to fire or excessive temperatures. Exposure to fire or temperatures above 130°C may cause an explosion.
8. Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack outside the temperature range specified in the instructions. Charging improperly or at
temperatures outside the specified range may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.
SERVICE
1. Have the power tool serviced by qualified service personnel, using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is
maintained.
2. Never attempt to repair damaged battery packs on your own. Service of battery packs should only be performed by the manufacturer or authorized service
technicians.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE BATTERY PACK
1. Avoid unintentional switching on, ensure the on/off switch is in the off position before inserting battery pack. Carrying the power tool with your finger on the
on/off switch or inserting the battery pack into power tools that have the switch on may cause accidents.
2. Do not open the battery. Danger of short circuiting.
3. Protect the battery against heat, e.g., also against continuous sun irradiation and fire. There is danger of explosion.
4. In case of damage and improper use of the battery, vapors may be emitted. Provide for fresh air and seek medical help in case of complaints. The vapors can
irritate the respiratory system.
5. When the battery is defective, liquid can escape and come into contact with adjacent components. Check any parts concerned. Clean such parts or replace
them, if required.
6. If liquid comes in contact with your skin, wash immediately with soap and water, then neutralize with lemon juice or vinegar.
7. If liquid from the battery gets in your eyes, flush them with clean water for at least 10 minutes, and then seek immediate medical attention. Following this
rule will reduce the risk of serious personal injury.
8. Use the battery only in conjunction with your power tool. This measure alone protects the battery against dangerous overload.
9. Use the battery only with the original charger, use with other chargers could result in fire hazard.
10. Do not crush, drop or damage the battery pack. Do not use a battery pack or charger that has been dropped or received a sharp blow. A damaged battery
is subject to explosion. Properly dispose of a dropped or damaged battery immediately.
11. Do not charger a battery tool in a damp or wet location. Following this rule will reduce the risk of electric shock.
