IMPORTANT!

This handset is compatible with DORO 820 & 830R models or any
other DECT GAP cordless. The handset will however NOT add any
answering machine functions. When used on a 820 base unit certain keys
functions will change slightly, e.g. volume control (now in menu), menu
icons etc. The buttons/functions related to answering machine will only
work when registered to a 830R base unit.
Connection
1. Connect the mains adaptor to the
charger pod and an electrical wall socket.
2.
Carefully remove the battery cover from the back of the
handset following the diagrams below. Insert the battery
plug and fit the battery into the handset. Replace the
battery cover ensuring the lock tab is inserted correctly.
3. Place the handset in the charger pod, with the keypad
facing outwards. Once the handset is correctly placed in
the charger pod, a beep will be heard and the battery
charge indicator in the display will begin to flash.
4. Charge the handset batteries without interruption for 24
hours initially (thereafter fully discharged batteries will
take up to 14 hours to recharge).
5. ONCE CHARGED, the handset must be registered to
the base unit.
6. Disconnect the electrical adapter of the BASE UNIT for
a few seconds, and then reconnect. Press
7. Scroll using
display. Press
8. Enter the PIN code (1111 for this model). Press
9. The handset will now search for the base unit. If
registration is unsuccessful repeat this procedure.
10. If the registration is successful the handset will return to
standby mode in a few seconds (max 90 seconds).
11. The handset is now ready to use.
