• Never search for metal objects on private land. Always comply with local laws and regulations. If in
doubt, contact the relevant authorities or land owner.
• Do not enter sites of archaeological interest or other famous sites without authorisation. If you find
objects of archaeological interest, contact a museum or the local authorities.
• Always leave the search area in the state in which you found it. Collect any waste and dispose of it
properly in accordance with regulations.
• After digging, refill the hole so that it looks tidy and does not present a hazard. Leave the landscape in
the state in which you found it.
• Return valuable objects to their rightful owners.
e) During use
• You are responsible for the hazards associated with excavating and recovering an object.
• When the device detects an object, bear in mind that the object may be ammunition or another explosive.
Danger of death! In this event, stop digging immediately, secure the area from a safe distance and inform
the local authorities (e.g. police).
• This product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children under 14 years of age. Children
may only use metal detectors when supervised by an adult.
• Objects may only be excavated by adults.
• Always look ahead when walking with the metal detector. Never look exclusively at the ground, as there
may be obstacles or hazards in front of you such as a slope or road!
