Switch-off position of pre-limit switch (menu item 37)
1.
Select menu  3 "Basic settings" in the control and go to
menu item  37 "Correction of pre-limit switch closing edge
safety".
ð
The preset value 25 blinks on the LED display.
2.
Set the switch-off position so that a maximum distance of
50 mm to the ground contact is generated. Values between
0 and 99 are provided to you for this purpose. Values of 25
(default setting) to 0 correspond to 0  mm to approx.
-50  mm. Values from 25 to 99 correspond to 0  mm to ap-
prox. +100 mm.
3.
Confirm the entry to complete the setting process.
Compliance with standard EN 12453
NOTICE
Check the switch-off position of the door after
every setting you have carried out. The switch-off
setting must correspond to a maximum distance
from the ground of 50 mm, otherwise compliance
with the standard EN 12453 is not ensured. This
might result in the loss of certification.
Menu 4 Further door settings
Overrun correction (menu item 42)
The overrun correction compensates for variations of the CLOSE
position, which result from the temperature, running-in of the
gearbox, etc.
Level adjustment (menu item 43)
The level adjustment process compensates for variations of the
CLOSE position, which result from a cable elongation or from a
rise in the floor. The CLOSE end position is adapted by ground
contact of the closing edge safety device. First set the exact
CLOSE position, then select the desired setting for level adjust-
ment in menu 4 under menu item 43. In settings 2, 3 and 4, the
positions programmed in menu 3 are adapted accordingly under
menu items 31, 34 and 37.
Spring fracture detection (menu item 47)
NOTICE
Spring fracture detection function is not a
substitute for a spring fracture safety device
The spring fracture detection function does not
replace the need for a mechanical spring fracture
safety device.
Carry out the following settings for spring fracture detection in
menu item 47 complying with the motor installed:
Motor 9.24/5.24
Input value = U x weight / 20 kg
Motor 9.20
Input value = U x weight / 16 kg
Motor 9.15
Input value = U x weight / 15 kg
U  = number of revolutions of the door shaft for complete door
opening
Weight = door leaf weight
Example: Motor 9.24, U  =  8 revolutions for door opening, door
leaf weight = 150  kg, with 2  springs each one bears 75  kg.
Switch-off should be at 60 kg.
8 x 60 kg / 20 kg = 24 (input value)
If the value set is exceeded, error F32 is output.
Re-adjusting the door end positions
NOTICE
When the springs have been replaced, the door
end positions must be re-adjusted.

Spring balancing check
Once the door has been opened and closed completely, you can
check the spring balance in menu item 47. Keep the
pressed for 5  seconds. The LED display now indicates the bal-
ance value of the door:
The display value should be between -1 and +2, otherwise you
must re-adjust the springs.
The remaining weight (F [kg]) of the spring balanced door can be
calculated as follows:
Motor 9.24/5.24
F [kg] = display value x 20 kg / U
Motor 9.20
F [kg] = display value x 16 kg / U
Motor 9.15
F [kg] = display value x 15 kg / U
U = number of revolutions for one door opening process
F = remaining weight in kg of the spring balanced door
The results are only to be considered as approximate
values. For an exact calculation, perform a force measurement
process.
If 6.65DU is used, the function will deviate.
NOTICE
For this, please take the "DU function" section
into consideration.
Opening force limit (menu item 48)
Danger of entanglement on the door leaf by
WARNING
persons standing or sitting on the door while
it is moving!
The force limitation must be set so as to prevent
persons from being able to stand or sit on the
door while it is moving.
Force limitation can only be utilized for doors
NOTICE
with spring balancing.
Environmental impacts like wind load and tem-
perature variations may lead to unintentional trig-
gering of the force limitation function.
Carry out the following settings for opening force limitation in
menu item 48 in compliance with the motor used:
Motor 9.24/5.24
Motor 9.20
Motor 9.15
The results are only to be considered as approximate
values. For an exact calculation, perform a force measurement
process.
The opening cycles are compared to the previous travel process.
If the value set is exceeded, the door stops and F33 appears on
the LED display.
Afterwards, the door can only be closed in dead man
mode.
Eliminate the cause of the excess of force, then open and close
the door once.
