POSSIBLE REASONS
1. Installation with small cross-section.
2. Dirty installation.
3. Water level too low.
4. Error in the direction of rotation.
5. Error in the supply voltage.
6. Leakage in the tubes.
7. High pressure.
1. Supply voltage outside the limits
acceptable for the engine.
2. Incorrect thermal calibration.
3. Motor overload due to dense/viscous
liquid.
4. Pump delivers higher flow rate than the
maximum flow rate on the nameplate.
1. Flow rate too high.
2. Cavitation.
3. Irregular tubes.
4. Noisy bearing.
5. Wrong priming.
1. Engine bearings worn.
2. Foreign bodies between fixed and/or
rotating parts.
3. Pump showing cavitation.
SOLUTION
1. Check installation
2. Clean pipes, valves, filters.
3. Stop pump or submerge foot valve.
4. Reverse two phases.
5. Supply the pump with the voltage indicated
on the nameplate.
6. Check the seals.
7. Check valve seal. Check diameter and flow
rate. Possible insufficient installation.
1. Check for excessive voltage drops. 2.
2. Recalibrate according to the current on the
motor nameplate.
3. Check the actual power absorbed by the
pump according to the pumped liquid.
4. Reduce the flow rate by throttling the
discharge.
1. Reduce flow rate.
2. Check suction and impeller conditions.
3. Check and condition piping.
4. Check installation conditions and contact
SAT.
5. Flush pump and/or refill pump
1. Replace the bearings.
2. Dismantle and clean the pump. Contact the
nearest Service Centre.
3. Reduce the flow rate.
