SpanSet round slings and multi-leg-slings may not be used
under the following circumstances:
– if the label

– if the load-bearing core of the SpanSet round sling or multi-leg-sling
(the part covered by the sleeve) is damaged.
– if the fabric has been damaged by acid, alkaline solution or other
chemical agents or substances.
– if the sleeve has been damaged by heat exposure (due to welding
beads, for example).
– if non-exchangeable components have been deformed due to over-
loading or abrasion (bending, notches, ground-down areas at contact
points etc.).
– if components are torn, cracked, dented, broken or corroded.

3.3 Residual risks
Danger! Death or serious injury due to falling loads if Span-
Set-round slings or multi-leg-slings are used in a non-authorised
way. SpanSet-round slings and multi-leg-slings are to be used exclusively
as intended (see 3.1 Intendede use).
3.4 Operator duties
The person operating SpanSet round slings or multi-leg-slings is obligat-
ed to the following duties as a minimum:
– Ensuring that the safety regulations and handling recommendations in
these instructions are followed.
– Establishing and implementing all measures prescribed under labour
laws.
