1.4 Availability
These instructions are to be kept for the entire service life of the Span-
Set round slings or multi-leg-slings and transferred to any new owners
with the corresponding SpanSet round slings or multi-leg-slings.
2 Product description
2.1 Material
SpanSet round slings and multi-leg-slings are textile slings made from
artificial fibres (polyester, polyamide and polypropylene) in accordance
with DIN EN 1492-2. Round slings consist of a load-bearing yarn core
(at least 11 twists) and a woven exterior. Additional load-bearing fitting
components made from metal are used for round sling multi-leg-slings.
2.2. Labelling
Every SpanSet round sling or SpanSet multi-leg-sling is identifiable by a
sewn label (see cover) and these instructions. Every SpanSet round
