3 Safety regulations
3.1 Intended use
– SpanSet round slings and multi-leg-slings are exclusively designed
for commercial use. Use for private purposes is prohibited.
– SpanSet round slings and multi-leg-slings are lifting accessories to
be used in lifting procedures
slings are attached to a hoist, e.g. a crane, and a load to perform
the lifting procedure.
– SpanSet round slings and multi-leg-slings may only be used in the
condition in which they were sold. Changes to SpanSet round slings
and multi-leg-slings are prohibited.
3.2 Prohibited use

Lifting and/or lowering of people or animals.

Overloading by exceeding the max. load capacity.

Tying knots.

Twisting when slinging

Damage or abrasion.

Tilt angle larger than 60°.

Do not use two SpanSet round slings in hanging aisle.

Never simply lay SpanSet round slings over the crane hook (hanging aisle).

Crushing or overlaying SpanSet round slings or multi-leg-slings.

Attachment to and pulling over sharp edges (an edge is considered
sharp if the radius r is smaller or equal to the thickness t of the
SpanSet round sling or multi-leg-sling).

Hanging up SpanSet round slings or multi-leg-slings on the hook tip of

round slings and multi-leg-slings may only take place vertically.
