INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
ASSEMBLING THE APPLIANCE
Before using the appliance, fix its feet (included separately in the box) to the
appliance. The feet must be fixed to the appliance base using the 4 self-
threading screws supplied, making sure they are correctly placed in their
corresponding positions on the bottom of the appliance.
SETTING THE APPLIANCE AT WORK
NOTE: When the appliance is set at work for the first time or after long periods of inactivity, it could give
a slight smell. This smell will disappear a little while after turning it on.
TCT-2000 – Convector heater with thermostat and turbo fan mode
Position the appliance in the desired place, taking into account the
safety precautions included in this manual.
Connect the plug to the suitable mains socket.
Turn the thermostat knob clockwise until the maximum position.
Start the heating element by means of the starting lever located on the
side panel. When the heating element is on, the indicator lights up.
Once the desired temperature has been reached, the thermostat knob
should be set to a lower level by turning it anticlockwise slowly until the
thermostat tripping and the lights on the switches go off. After that, the
appliance will keep the air in the room at the selected temperature,
automatically turning on and off.
The TCT-2000 model is also equipped with an internal turbo fan, which
can be turned on independently from the heating element.
Setting the turbo fan at work: it is started by means of the corresponding button. The turbo fan will work
with the thermostat in position "On" and can be used when the heating element is started to blow hot
air in the room. When the room temperature is too high, the turbo fan can be used while the heating
element is off, to blow cold air in the room.
TC-T24 – Convector heater with thermostat timer and turbo fan mode
All the instructions indicated above for the TCT-2000 model are also applicable for the TC-T24 model.
In addition, this model also features a 24h timer with 96 segments around its circumference. Each
segment is equal to 15 minutes. Thanks to the timer, it is possible to programme the periods during
which the appliance should remain on in 24 hours.
TIMER OPERATION
Below the timer knob to you will find a three-position
switch.
In the "O" position, the device is always turned off.
In the "I" position the equipment is always turned on,
annulling the effect timer, and the fan heater turns on, off
and order with the other knobs (selector, thermostat and
ventilation button).
In the "
" position, the timer switches on and off the unit
during the period of time indicated by the segments (see
"timer setting"), according to the setting of knobs (selector,
thermostat and ventilation button).
TIMER ADJUSTMENT
Make sure that the selector under the timer is set to position "
".
Turn the timer knob clockwise until the current time is set in the indicator (◄). Select the periods during
which you want the appliance to be on, by turning timer outwards the corresponding number of
segments. When the timer is adjusted, the appliance will be on everyday at the pre-set times. Note that
the appliance must always be connected to the mains socket and the heating power selector as well
as the thermostat must always be operating in order for the appliance to be on the programmed times.
If you want the appliance to be continuously on ignoring the timer, set the selector to position "I".
If, afterwards, you want to go back to the programmed timer mode, simply set the selector back to
position
.
