8. Installation
8.1. Product Inspection
After unpacking the product, carefully take the battery out of the packaging. The
battery is heavy and may require assistance to take it out of the box. Check the
appearance of housing, connectors, sockets, and accessories. If damage, or a lack of
parts is found, please contact the distributor.
8.2. Product Installation
The ARX battery is heavy and must be placed on a flat, sturdy surface, away from
direct sunlight or heat source. This is an indoor-use device only and requires a
cool, ventilated, low-humidity, and dust-free environment for safe and sustainable
operation. Use battery holders to securely install the battery on brackets or in the
mounting cabinet.
Before installation, cut off the utility power and turn off the battery. The wiring must be
correct. Ensure that no short circuit with external devices occurs. The battery must be
grounded with an overall resistance of less than 0.1Ω. The electric parameters of the
battery must be compatible with related equipment.
IMPORTANT!
Cut off the power supply and turn off the ARX battery
Make sure that the polarity of connections is correct
Ensure that the external devices are not short-circuited
Direct connection of batteries and AC power is prohibited
Never connect the ARX battery to other types of batteries, faulty, or incompatible
equipment.
8.3. Transportation
The battery may only be transported in the original packaging or an appropriate
alternative packaging that meets the relevant requirements: The battery belongs to
categoryUN3480, class 9, packing group II and consequently it must be packed by
packing instructions P903 (transportation by land or water: ADR, RID & IMDG) or P965
(transportation by air: IATA).
The battery has been tested by the UN Manual of Tests and Criteria, Part III, subsection
38.3 (ST/SG/AC.10/11/version 5).
