2. Safety instructions

Installation, maintenance, and all other work on the battery must be carried out
only by a qualified technician.
•
During all work on the battery, insulated tools, protective goggles, and safety
clothing must be used.
•
Avoid wearing any conductive objects such as jewelry or watches when working
with the battery.
•
For proper handling, use the non-slip metal handles on the battery front.
•
Always check the polarity before connecting the battery and ensure the battery
is not dropped or hit.
•
Make sure that the battery is placed in the correct position and properly
secured.
•
DO NOT expose the battery to direct sunlight, excessive moisture, dirt, cleaning
solvents, or high temperatures (50+C).
•
DO NOT modify or attempt to repair the battery yourself.
•
DO NOT connect the battery directly to PV wiring or utility grid.
•
In the event of a battery fire, always use foam, CO2, or a class D fire extinguisher.
•
If the battery has been stored for a long period of time, it must be charged
before use. The state of charge (SOC) should not be below 70%.
•
Because the battery contains hazardous chemicals, only dispose of it in
designated recycling channels and never with ordinary trash.
•
If substances escape from the battery housing and come into contact with the
skin or eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and contact a doctor.
