 Insert the funnel into the opening on the salt container and fill it with 1 kg of
dishwasher salt. It is normal for water to come out of the salt container (11).
 Once the container has been filled, twist the lid clockwise to tighten.
 To prevent damage to the appliance, a quick program without dishes or dish-
washer detergent should be started immediately after filling with salt (see sec-
tion "8. Starting the wash program" on page 151).

Risk of damage to the appliance
Using incorrect rinse aid may damage the appliance.
 Only fill with pure rinse aid for dishwashers. Rinse
aids with washing or other additives are not suitable.

 Open the appliance door.
 Twist the lid of the rinse aid container (6) anticlockwise to the left arrow and re-
move the lid (see Fig. 9).
 Fill the rinse aid up to the "MAX" mark (see Fig. 10). Make sure the container
does not overflow.
 Replace the lid with the arrow tip onto the left arrow again and twist it clockwise
onto the right arrow (see Fig. 11).
Remove surplus rinse aid with a damp cloth after filling and close the lid.
