Definitions of Hazard Warning Words
Before performing maintenance, the log splitter must be placed in maintenance mode.
9. Turn off the engine.
10. Move the control valve handle back and forth to relieve hydraulic pressure.
After performing maintenance, make sure that all guards, shields, and safety
features are put back in place. Failure to heed this warning may result in serious
injury.

Waste energy must be released from the pressurized hydraulic fluid before any
maintenance or repair work is performed on the wood processor. The hydraulic fluid
can remain highly pressurized even when the processor motor is turned off.
Pressurized hydraulic fluid leaking can penetrate the skin and cause serious injury.
To release residual hydropower:
13. Turn off the engine
14. Move the control valves back and forth, from one travel limit to the other, at least
four times.
15. Hold the valve for three seconds at each travel limit.

starting the engine.
Inspect for cracks and leaks. Replace all
damaged accessories before starting the engine.
