Proper Operation of the Log Splitter
21.) Load a log onto the beam and against the ram plate.
22.) Serious accidents can occur when other people are allowed to enter the work area.
Keep everyone else out of the work zone while operating the control valve.
23.) Push the control valve handle FORWARD to split the trunk.
24.) Push the control valve handle BACK to return the wedge to its original position.
25.) Clean the split wood from the work area.
Danger of crushing.
The wedge can cut the skin and break the bones. Keep both hands
away from the wedge and the sliding beam.
-Serious accidents can occur when other people are allowed into
the work zone. Keep everyone else out of the work zone while
operating the control valve.
-Do not wear loose-fitting clothing. It can get tangled in the moving
parts of the log splitter.
-Use the log splitter only in daylight so you can see what you are
doing.
