Serious injury or death can result if safety instructions are not
followed.
The engine is shipped without oil.
-Before starting the engine, fill it with SAE 10W-30 engine oil.-
Refer to the engine manual for engine oil capacity.
The hydraulic oil tank is shipped without oil.
-When adding oil, check that the oil level is 1 from the top of the
hydraulic reservoir (not including the filler neck).
Closely inspect all log splitter components.
If you have damaged components, contact the shipping company
that delivered the unit and file a claim.
