14 Operation and Handing
This chapter provides you with important notices with regard to operating the device.
14.1 Operating elements and displays
The device transmits the following signal sounds as an acoustic feedback signal:
► Use the buttons
the range of 7-18°C. The bottom area with the shelf inserts is identified as "lower" and its
temperature can be set in the range of 10-18°C.
► Temperature recommendations e.g. red wine upper range: 12°C – 16°C and e.g. white
wine lower range: 6°C – 10°C.
You can set the temperature as your desire by pressing the buttons " " and " " on the panel
to adjust the temperature in 1°C steps from 7-18°C.
You can tune the interior light on or off by pressing the "Light" button.
The temperature in the device depends on the room temperature, the quantity of bottles and
the chosen temperature. Please note that your device is only intended to cool beverages.
The maximum temperature that can be reached inside the device cannot be significantly
ABOVE the ambient temperature at the setup location.
Warning
► The device can only cool efficiently if you regularly clean the fan mask. The device may
overheat if the fan mask is dirty. Depending on the degree of soiling the fan mask has to
be cleaned – at least once a month.
14.2 Rating plate
The rating plate with the connection and performance data can be founded on the back of
the device.
