BEFORE THE FIRST USE
·
Remove all packaging materials and clean the appliance carefully before using for the first time (see
"Cleaning and maintenance").
·
The appliance heats up during use, so place the appliance on a heat-resistant surface and never put it
on a plastic table or plastic tablecloth.
·
Make sure there is adequate ventilation around the appliance. Turn the teppanyaki plate on for 10
minutes without putting any food on it. There will be a small amount of smoke and a slight odour that
will disappear quickly. This is normal. Clean the teppanyaki plate with absorbent kitchen paper or a
clean dry cloth to remove any residue.
·
It is recommended that you grease the griddle with a small amount of oil when using it for the very
first time.
Make sure that sharp objects such as forks do not damage the special coating on the teppanyaki. Small
fragments could become loose and your appliance could get irreparably damaged. Always use wooden
spatulas or a heat-resistant plastic model.
USE
Set the temperature regulator to 0 and plug the thermostat jack into the appliance. Then put the plug in
the socket.
SETTING THE TEMPERATURE
·
You can set the temperature of the appliance as desired. The temperature ranges from
a minimum of 0 to a maximum of 5. A medium temperature is recommended.
·
This switch is also the on/off switch, and 0 is the off position.
·
Turn the temperature regulator to the desired position. The red indicator light will light
up to show that the appliance is in use.
TIPS
·
Defrost frozen food before laying it on the teppanyaki.
·
In order to grill meat, adjust the thermostat to maximum and make sure that the appliance is
thoroughly heated before laying the meat on the griddle.
·
If you only need to use a part of the teppanyaki, then place the food in the middle to obtain the ideal
cooking result.
