MOVING THE TREADMILL
WARNING!
When moving the treadmill, DO NOT lift treadmill or turn it upside down or place
treadmill on its side. Treadmill has high pressure gas-shocks which can spring open,
potentially causing injury. Transport unit ONLY on the ground, and ONLY after it is fully
assembled and in the upright folded position with the lock latch secured.
If you must lift treadmill or disassemble treadmill to move it to a different location,
carefully follow these steps to reduce the risk of injury and to prevent the gas-shocks
from springing open!
STEPS:
1. STRAP: Use zip ties on both the right and left sides of the treadmill to securely strap
the deck frame (the part of the frame that has the running surface) to the folding
frame (the part of the frame that stays on the ground when the treadmill is folded
up into the storage position).
2. TEST: Once the zip ties are securely in place, try to lift the deck into the folded-up
storage position. The zip ties should prevent the deck from being folded up.
3. DOUBLE-CHECK: Carefully tip treadmill onto its side, keeping fingers and hands
clear of the folding frame of the treadmill. The zip ties should prevent the high
pressure gas-shocks from springing open.

4. DISASSEMBLY (if required). If disassembly of treadmill masts is necessary to relocate
treadmill, carefully remove console and masts from the treadmill frame, taking care to
protect the console cable where it leaves the mast and enters the treadmill frame. Refer
to Assembly section of your Owner's Manual for more information.
5. RE-CHECK: Go back to steps 2 and 3 to re-test and re-check zip ties to ensure that they
prevent the high pressure gas shocks from springing open.
6. MOVE: Move treadmill to its new location. Take care to keep fingers and hands clear of
the folding frame and the area near the gas-shocks.
7. RELOCATE AND REASSEMBLE: Once treadmill is placed where it is to be used, reassemble
treadmill (if necessary). Refer to Assembly section your Owner's Manual for more
information. Check to make sure that all bolts and screws are fully tightened and that
treadmill is operational.
8. CUT ZIP TIES: At this time, you may cut the zip ties to release the deck from being
strapped to the folding frame. Once the zip ties are cut, DO NOT lift treadmill or turn it
upside down or place treadmill on its side. Treadmill has high pressure gas-shocks which
can spring open, potentially causing injury. Transport unit ONLY on the ground, and ONLY
after it is fully assembled and in the upright folded position with the lock latch secured.
