USE
1.
When operating the device, please put on a pan/pot firstly. Always place the pot or pan in the centre
of the hotplate.
! Never heat empty pots or pans. Empty containers may become damaged or deformed.
2.
Make sure the rotary knob is turned to position "MIN". Plug in the appliance. If the rotary knob
was not at "MIN" when the unit was switched on, it will not work. Still, turn the knob to "MIN" first
before selecting the desired temperature setting.
! Make sure there are no foreign objects such as water or food on the hot plate, before turning it
on.
3.
Turn the rotary knob to the desired position. The hot plate has 8 different temperature settings.
·
MIN: off mode
·
Use the low settings (1 - 4) for reheating or simmering.
·
The temperature settings 5 to 8 can be used for cooking.
4.
You hear a signal with every turn of the knob. The indicator lamp for the selected setting will light
up.
5.
Turn the rotary knob to position "MIN" after use.
6.
After use, the hot plate will remain hot for some time. The ventilation stays on for a while to cool
down. Do not unplug the appliance before it has cooled down completely.
! The appliance will sound several times if the (correct) pot is not on the hob and will then automatically
switch off after one minute.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
·
Before cleaning the appliance always remove the plug from the socket.
·
Never immerse the appliance in water.
·
You can clean the surface of your hot plate with a damp soft cloth. If necessary, use a neutral hob
cleaner. Dry the device afterwards.
·
Don't use any abrasive cleaners.
·
We recommend to remove spilled food with a damp cloth, when the hot plate is still warm, but not
hot. Be very careful during cleaning not to burn yourself.
