To avoid risk of death from electric shock:
• Do not operate the device if the mains lead or the
mains socket is damaged
CAUTION! Damaged mains leads present a serious
danger to life from electric shock. If the appliance does
not work perfectly or is damaged, have it examined
and repaired immediately, but only at the service
centre. The service centre you should use is shown in
the enclosed guarantee details.
• Check the mains lead regularly for damage or the
effects of ageing. In order to avoid a hazardous
situation, a damaged mains lead must always be
replaced by the manufacturer, its representative or an
equivalent qualified person.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, it's service agent or a similarly
qualified person in order to avoid a hazardous
situation.
• Protect the mains lead from sharp edges, pressure and
hot surfaces.
• Do not use the appliance outside. Make sure that the
mains lead never gets damp or wet during operation.
• Do not switch the appliance on if there is visible
damage (e.g. cracks or breaks) or if you think that the
appliance may have been damaged (e.g. after it has
been dropped).
• Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings
of a bath, shower or swimming pool.
