First flight:
- Assemble the model as described in these instructions, program the radio control
system as explained above, and charge all the batteries fully. There is now no
excuse for not flying the model!
- We recommend that you carry out a range check with the motor running before
you fly your new aeroplane.
- Do not attempt to fly this model unless you are a pilot with considerable
flying skill and experience.
- Although the aeroplane is extremely simple to build, it is demanding to fly.
We have flown the GL-39 Albatros in all conditions equipped with the recommended
components, and have encountered no technical problems.
When dry cells, rechargeable batteries, servos and speed controllers reach the end of
their useful life, you must not dispose of them in the ordinary household waste. Take
exhausted batteries back to your model shop, or to your local toxic waste collection
centre.
