MATERIALS
A 1 Tubular Cross Bar
A1 1 Centre Drop Plate
C 1 Centre Tube with international facing to ISO 3853 (BS AU114)
D 4 M12 x 30mm x 1.25mm Bolts and Lock Washers
E 2 M12 x 90mm Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers and large Flat Washers (25mm O.D.)
F 2 M10 x 30mm x 1.25mm Bolts, Lock Washers, large Flat Washers (25mm O.D.), and one Nut
G 2 M12 x 35mm Bolts, Nuts and Lock Washers
X 2 M10 x 50mm x 1.25mm Bolts and Lock Washers
CB 2 M16 x 50mm Coupling Bolts, Nuts and Lock Washers
FITTING
1. Loosely attach Drop Plate (A) to the threaded holes provided in the frame with Bolts (D) (remove towing eye, if fitted).
2. Remove the bolts on the left at (X). Some models have a towing eye here and the original bolts can be re-used.
3. Insert long Bolts (E) through cleat on Centre Tube (C) and through Cross Tube (A), using flat washers under bolt heads.
Now manoeuvre assembly into position and pass these bolts through the drop plate. Attach with Bolts (X) on the left. Bolt
to towing eye fixing on right with Bolts (F) and large flat washers.
4. Insert Bolts (G) and finally tighten all bolts.
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: M8 - 27Nm, M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm, M14 - 150 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
