8.6 Checking the power tool after care and
maintenance
After carrying out care and maintenance work on
the power tool, check that all protective and safety
devices are fitted and that they function faultlessly.
Possible cause
Initialization of the electronics is
in progress (takes up to approx. 4
sec. after plugging in) or the elec-
tronic restarting interlock has be-
come activated after an interruption
in the electric supply.
Interruption in the electric supply.
The supply cord or plug is defect-
ive.
The control switch is defective.
Generator with sleep mode.
The power tool is too cold.
A fault has occurred in the power
tool.
Chuck not sufficiently greased.
Damage to the power tool or ser-

Remedy
Switch the power tool off and on
again.
Plug in another electric appliance
and check whether it works.
