• To install the blade, mount the blade and secure it by
gripping the flange with a box wrench and turning the
socket wrench counterclockwise.
TRIGGER (ON/OFF)
Your tool starts and stops by depressing and releasing
the trigger. Depressing the trigger starts the tool.
Releasing the trigger stops the tool.
DEPTH OF CUT
Loosen the wing nut on the angle plate and remove the
base up or down to the desired depth, then secure the
base by tightening the wing nut.
ANGLE OF CUT
Loosen the wing nut on the depth guide and move the
tool body to the desired angle, then secure the body by
tightening the wing nut.
OPERATING
Place the tool base on the work piece without making
contact with the blade. Start to smoothly move the tool
after turning it ON to reach maximum speed. Move the
blade slowly forward until the cut is complete and to
keep the cutting line straight.
REMOVING AND INSTALLING BLADE
Always ensure the tool is switched OFF and unplugged
before removing or installing the blade. To remove the
blade, grip the outside flange with a box wrench and
turn the socket wrench clockwise. To install, follow the
removal procedures in reverse.
REPLACING CARBON BRUSHES
Remove and check the carbon brushes regularly.
Replace when the carbon brushes are worn to about
6mm or less. Keep the carbon brushes clean to ensure
unrestricted movement in the holder. Both carbo
brushes should be replaced at the same time. Use a
screwdriver to remove the brush caps and to replace
the worn carbon brushes. Secure the brush caps after
inserting new brushes.
