Operating manual
FOREWORD
This supplementary leaflet is applicable to Gysflash CNT chargers manufactured before January 2024 (serial number
less than 24.01.xxxxxx.xxxxxx). It deals with the specific installation details of the SHM with this type of charger, in
relation to parallelisation and equalisation.
CHECKING THE CHARGERS
Before proceeding with the installation as described below, make sure that the Gysflash units you are using are affec-
ted. To do this:
Check that the serial number on the charger is below
24.01.xxxxxx.xxxxxx.
1
If this is not the case, follow the procedure indicated in the original SHM
manual.
Check the software version of the Gysflash (SW).
If the SW version is below 09.00, then update your charger (contact your
2
dealer or Aftersales for more details).
Once the charger is up to date, check the HMI index by going to the Informa-
tion menu
If the HMI is different from HMI 04.01, follow the procedure below to install
3
the SHM.
If the HMI is equal to HMI 04.01, follow the procedure indicated in the initial
SHM manual.
Set up
1. Connecting the Gysflash to the SHM:
For Gysflash CNT chargers manufactured before January 2024, you will need to assign each of the chargers to a
SHM channel, and configure the charger according to the channel to which it is to be connected.
To do this, follow the procedure below:
Removing the GYSFLASH CNT cover
1
Unplug your GYSFLASH from the power supply at least 10 minutes before disassembly.
This procedure must only be carried out by a suitably qualified person.
Locate the micro-switches that are used to adjust the char-
ger.
Set the micro-switches to match the SHM channel you wish
to assign to the charger, as follows:
Allocated SHM
channel
Position of
microswitches
2
Each Gysflash must be set to a different position.
There cannot be two Masters, or tw o Slave 1s, for example.
3 Re-fit the Gysflash CNT cover.
4 Connect each Gysflash to its allocated SHM channel (via SMC cables).
