1 Safety instructions and recommendations
Warning
Do not remove the power supply cable while the unit is running
or with wet hands. Doing so may result in electric shocks and
fires.
Do not remove the protective grilles or insert hands or objects
into the air intakes or outlets.
Do not use any sprays or insecticides on the units. Doing so
may result in a fire.
Do not modify the units. Do not attempt to repair the units
yourself. Any incorrect or unsuitable intervention may result in
fires, electric shocks or leakage of water or refrigerant.
Caution
Do not pull, stretch or deform the power supply cable in any
way. Doing so may damage the unit or cause an electric shock.
Do not share the socket with other electric appliances, or use a
broken cord. Doing so may cause electric shocks or fires.
After switching on the air conditioner, do not switch it off for at
least 5 minutes. This prevents oil from returning to the
compressor.
Do not use liquid detergents or corrosive products to clean the
air conditioner. These may cause damage or electric shocks.
The air conditioner is only designed for climate control in indoor
environments with surface areas and conditions of use appropriate for
the installed capacity. Never use it for other purposes.
The air conditioner may only be installed, connected and wired by
installers who meet the technical and professional requirements to
install and maintain such systems.
This type of indoor unit does not use an electric heater. You cannot
install an electric heater or an electric stove at the installation site.
Periodically check the conditions of installation of the unit. Have the
system checked by qualified personnel.
In the event that the power supply cable is damaged, it must be
replaced. Use a type of cable featured in the installation manual only.
The cable must be replaced by trained, qualified personnel only.
Clean the dust on the plug regularly.
An all-pole switch with at least 3.0 mm between contacts must be
installed in the fixed wiring.
If the air conditioner is permanently connected to the fixed wiring with a
leakage current that may exceed 10 mA, a leakage protector must be
installed in the fixed wiring.
The power supply circuit should have a leakage protector and a
disconnect switch with a capacity of more than 1.5 times the maximum
current.
If the air conditioner is not to be used for an extended period of time,
turn off the power switch to save electricity.
If the air conditioner is not to be used for an extended period of time,
remove the batteries from the remote control.
Use the all-pole switch or the plug to switch off the air conditioner and
disconnect power in the event of air conditioner malfunctioning. If the
problem persists, contact your local assistance service.
Do not turn the air conditioner on or off using the power switch or plug.
Do not climb or place items on top of the outdoor unit.
