Care and maintenance
Lint filter
Fibres are rubbed off garments during
normal wear (fluff). These come loose
during drying and are collected in the lint
filter. The lint filter ® must therefore be
cleaned after every drying cycle.
1. Take out the filter from its holder.
2. Remove the fluff by hand.
3. Replace the filter.
Door seals ®
Remove any fluff or deposits with a damp
cloth, as otherwise the door may not seal
properly.
Inside of door ®
Brush or wipe off any fluff.
Condensed-water container
The condensed water produced during
drying is collected in the condensed-wa-
every drying cycle ®.
1. Take out the condensed-water
container;
2. Open the locking cap (A). If there is
any fluff in the cap,
take it out.
3. Empty out the water.
4. Replace the cap.
5. Slide the container back into the dryer
until it clicks.
Note:
You can use the condensed water as dis-
tilled water for domestic purposes (steam
iron, humidifier). Filter it first through a
paper coffee filter.
Warning: it is not suitable as drinking wa-
te r.
Condenser (heat exchanger)
The condenser @ and the respective filter
are to be cleaned three to four times a
year. They should be checked at least after
every 20 drying cycles and any deposits
should be removed, as otherwise the
functioning may be impaired.
1. Open the door by pressing the door-
opening button. [0
2. Press the red button iri the loading
porthole. The maintenance flap will
spring up ®.

release and take out the heat exchang-
er @.
4. Clean the heat exchanger across and
lengthways under running water ®.
Allow the water to drain off properly.
5. Clean the corresponding filter ®.
It can be taken out of the condenser for
this purpose ®.
When replacing the filter, make sure that
the two guide pieces are inserted into the
lower slot of the condenser as far as they
will go ®.
Housing, loading door and plastic parts
Clean with soapy water, mild detergent or
the usual agents for cleaning plastic. Do
not use abrasive cleaners! Do not
spray
the machine with water.
Dry with a soft cloth.
Moisture sensor and drum
Deposits may build up inside the drum
over a period of time and cause poor dry-
ing results. To clean the moisture sensor
and drum use a soft cloth soaked in vine-
gar ®.
Never use solvents (risk of fire/explosion).
