The right and left cooking zones do not influence each other. You can set one cooking zone
from the left side to Boost or one from the right side to Boost. If the 'Total maximum power'
P0 is set at 3.7 or lower, then the cooking zones on the left and right influence each other.
If the maximum power has been reached a audio signal will sound.
Melting/keep warm functions
The melting and keep warm functions are intended for heating up food and keeping it at a certain
temperature.
•
Melting
A temperature of 42 ºC (+/- 5 ºC) is maintained for melting food (depending on quality of

used cookware).
•
Keep warm
A temperature of 70 °C (+/- 5 ºC) is maintained for keep warm food (depending on
▷
quality of used cookware).
Automatic heat up
This function preheats the cooking zone at level 9 in order to bring it rapidly up to the required
temperature. After a given time interval, the power level returns to the established setting. It may
be switched on in any of the zones for all power settings except for setting "9" and Boost.

Pause function
The pause function can only be used when at least one zone is switched on.
The maximum break duration is 10 minutes. After 10 minutes at pause, the hob switches off.
Cooking can be resumed within 10 minutes by touching the pause key.
While the Pause function is active:
•
Any Timer (also Alarm timer) set before the pause will be stopped during the pause and
continue when pause mode is stopped.
