Installation
Note:
Ensure that the RCM is connected permanently to the mains power and does not have a
main switch for the all-pole mains power decoupling.
To avoid malfunctions, please do not disconnect the RCM from the power supply during
the boot process.
Connect the RCM to a power supply with TN-S network configuration. Please note the detailed in-
formation in section 8 "Mass configuration / initial commissioning".
Depending on the RCM version, provide the following pre-fuse:
RCM Inline Meter:
At the infeed (CEE connector) to the RCM, route the cable out of the IT rack and connect it to the
mains supply. Connect the equipment to the output end (CEE coupling).
After connecting the RCM to the power supply, the green power LED (fig. 5, item 7) will be illuminat-
ed, and the RCM will start to boot automatically.
If connected to a network, the Link and Status LEDs on the RJ 45 jack will be illuminated (fig. 5,
item 9 and 10).
After a few seconds, the multi-LED for status display will start to flash blue, indicating that booting is
in progress (fig. 5, item 8).

Settings of the RCM
If the RCM cannot be incorporated into the network with these settings, the settings can be amended
via the display or the RCM website.
