The noise caused by this machine can damage the
ears. Use ear protectors. If you work regularly with
this machine, visit your doctor regularly to check your
hearing.
Attention !: When working with hearing protections
you should be more careful to visual signals because
the auditory signals will be weaker.
You should take with you:
- Tools
- Signaling tape for the work area.
- Mobile phone (To be used in case of emergency).
2.3. SECURITY OF THE WORK AREA
Don't operate this machine in explosive
atmospheres as well as in the presence of
flammable liquids, gases and dust.
Don't start the machine in a room or
enclosed area. Exhaust gases and fuel
vapors contain carbon monoxide and
hazardous chemicals. In case of a concentration of
gases produced by insufficient ventilation, eliminate
everything from the work area that prevents the flow
of clean air to improve ventilation and do not return to
work in the area unless you have properly ventilated
the area and be clear that the ventilation is sufficient
so that this concentration does not happen again.
The area within a radius of 15 meters
around the machine should be considered
a risk area where no one should enter
while the machine is in motion (safety zone). When
necessary, use ropes and warning signs to mark the
safety zone.
Keep children and curious people away while
operating this machine. Distractions can cause you
to lose control. Keep people or animals from entering
your work area.
When the work must be done simultaneously by
two or more people, always check the presence and
location of the others in order to maintain a distance
between each person sufficient to ensure safety.
Do not use this machine at night, with fog or with
reduced visibility that does not allow you to clearly
see the work area.
Keep the work area clean and work in good lighting.
Messy and dark areas cause accidents.
2.4. FUEL AND OIL SAFETY
IMPORTANT: The fuel used for this
machine is highly flammable. If the fuel or
machine becomes inflamed, extinguish the
fire with a dry powder extinguisher.
Gasoline and oil are dangerous, avoid contact
of gasoline or oil with skin and eyes. Do not inhale
or swallow them. In case of ingesting fuel and / or
oil, go quickly to your doctor. If you come in contact
with the fuel or with the oil, clean yourself with plenty
of water and soap as soon as possible. If you feel
irritated eyes or skin, immediately consult a doctor.
Don't refuel in closed or poorly ventilated
places. The vapors of the fuel and the oil
contain dangerous chemical substances.
In case of a concentration of gases produced
by insufficient ventilation, remove from the area
anything that prevents the flow of clean air to improve
ventilation and do not return to the area unless you
have properly ventilated the area and be clear that the
ventilation is enough so that this concentration does
not happen again.
