SWITCHING
THE INSTRUMENT ON
After
the instrument
has
been connected to the mains
vol
tage
in
acco rdance
with
c
la
use
1.1 .4, it can
be switched on by
the
mains switch
POWER
at the rea
r
panel.
The
LED
'POWER
'
lights
up.
With norma
l
installation
in
accordance
with
section
1
and
after
a
warming -up
time
of
30 min-
utes
,
the characteristics
specified
in section
4
are
va lid.

BRIEF CHECKING
PROCEDURE

General
Information
This procedure is
intended

the instrument's functions
with a
m inimum of test steps
and actions
.
It is assumed
that the
operator
doing
this
test
is familiar with the instrument an
d
its
characteristi
cs.
If
this test
is
st
arted within a
short
period
after
switching on,
test steps
may be out of
specification, d
ue
to
insufficient
warming-
up time
.

Before switching on, ensure

has been
installed
in
accordance with
the
instructions mentioned
in Section
1 .
Connect oscilloscope to
the
OUTPUT socket.
Set the generator
to:
